HAVE QUESTIONS?
Camp registration will be closed 72 hours prior to the start of Camp. Camp Director’s will monitor the registration at the time of closing and will decide whether to add or adjust capacities.
Athletes are welcome to check in no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the Camp start time on the first day. The rest of the Camp week, you are welcome to check in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of Camp. Upon checking in, athlete’s will be walked back to their first training space for the day where they will meet their coach. At the end of camp each day, athletes will need to be checked out of the facility at the Front Desk before leaving for the day. Please make sure to add all adults that will be picking your athlete up during the week to their approved pick-up list on the first day of camp.
Your child should come ready to play with indoor soccer or athletic shoes (no cleats allowed), shin guards, a refillable water bottle, and a healthy snack (bring a lunch for full day camp). All training equipment, including soccer balls and tech tools, will be provided by COPA STC.
We have designated lunch and snack times each day of Camp. Full day campers will need to pack a cold lunch. Snacks and water are also recommended. COPA STC does have vending machines and concessions on site with a variety of different snack and drink options. We recommend sending your Camper with small bills or coins if possible if they plan on using the vending machine.
Camp registration is for the entirety of the Camp. Prorations and credit’s will not be applied if you cannot attend the full Camp.
No, COPA does not offer sibling or multi-Camp discounts at this time.
All registrations are final. We do not offer refunds, schedule changes, or transfers. If there are extenuating circumstances and your athlete is not able to attend Camp, please reach out to the Member Services Team via info@copastc.com to discuss your options.
Players are grouped based on age first and then based on playing level. In some situations, players may be assigned a different group after their first day. In the Elite Player Camp, players will be grouped based off of their training recommendations from the COPA Score Assessment.
Yes—COPA STC Soccer Camps welcome all levels, from brand-new players to competitive youth athletes. Camp groups are divided by age and ability so every child receives coaching that fits their level and encourages growth.
COPA STC makes every effort to group friends but this cannot be guaranteed. If you are looking to be grouped with a friend, you must request it in the registration process.
We offer COPA Camp options for athletes of all ages. The Future Stars Camp is offered for athletes ages 4-5, the COPA Camp is offered for athletes ages 6-15, the Elite Camp is offered for athletes ages 9-15, and Finishing Fridays are available for athletes 6-15.
In order to qualify for the Elite Player Camp players must meet the below minimum requirements:
Players aged 9-11: skills.lab score of 55 or higher
Players aged 12+: skills.lab score of 30 or higher
Players are grouped closely by the recommendations from their qualifying COPA Score. From their our expert staff modify each and every session to be sure the players are being coached on their needs.
Elite Camp qualification is dependent on an athlete doing the COPA Score
- 12+ y/o must earn a training level of Level 3 or higher, equivalent to a Cube Rating of 46+.
- 9-11 y/o must earn a training level of Level 3 or higher, equivalent to a Cube Rating of 31+.
Goalkeeper training is available during select camps only. Look for Goalkeeper Soccer Camps if interested in registering you goalie. These sessions are led by experienced keeper coaches and focus on position-specific skills.
In the event that your athlete does not qualify for the Elite Camp based on their skills.Lab score, there are three options:
- You can purchase another COPA Score to take and try again, assuming that the qualification deadline has not passed.
- You can switch your registration from the Elite Camp to the COPA Camp for the same week.
- You may request this by filling out the COPA Membership Request Form on the Member Services page of the COPA website or by emailing info@copastc.com.
- You may cancel your registration for the Elite Camp all together to receive a refund for the price of the Elite Camp minus the cost of the COPA Score. The COPA Score is priced at $149. Except to see one these amounts subtracted from your refund if you move forward with cancelling your Elite Camp registration.
The last Friday before the start of Camp is the last day to schedule a COPA Score to qualify for the Elite Camp.
- If your athlete has not earned a qualifying score by the Friday before the start of Camp, they will not be able to participate in the Elite Camp.
- Example: If Elite Camp starts on Monday June 17, the last day to assess is Friday June 14.
No. When you register for the Elite Camp, a free COPA Score Pass will be deposited into your Day Smart account to use towards your qualifying assessment for the Elite Camp.
- To use your free pass, you will need to apply it in your cart once you’ve added the assessment to your cart on Day Smart. Applying the free pass should bring your total cost for the assessment down to $0.
- Any additional assessments booked after the free pass has been used are your responsibility to pay for.
- Example: If you do not qualify for the Elite Camp in the first COPA Score you take and would like to try again, you will need to pay full price for your second assessment.
Athletes in each age group are generally grouped based on the training recommendations from their COPA Score card.
